Open daily from 9:30am to 5:00pm
(closed Christmas Day and Good Friday)

Admission Fees

  • Adult - $23
  • Concession - $18
  • Child - $12 (ages 5-15 years)
  • Family - $52 (2 Adults and up to 4 children)

Admission tickets can be purchased from the Gaol's main entry on your date of visit.

Getting Here

Tram: City Circle Tram Stop - corner of La Trobe and Russell Street: Tram no. 24, stop no. 7.
Tram no. 30 also runs along La Trobe Street every 10–14 minutes every day of the week in both directions.
Train: Melbourne Central Station (2 min. walk)
Car: Melway reference: 2B F12
